The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on a SE-facing slope, near the head of the Owbaun River. A collapsed drystone wall (T 0.8m; H 0.5m) extends (L c. 25m) from the bank of a small stream at the SW to an enclosure (KE084-004001-) at the NE. A second section of wall (T 0.8m; H 0.6m) extends (L c. 19m) to the SE from the SE corner of a rectangular feature which abuts the SE arc of the same enclosure. A NE-SW lane crosses the wall at this point. The wall continues (L c. 70m) beyond the lane to the SE and then turns to the SW for a distance of c. 12m where it disappears into the bog.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
