The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, on a SE-facing slope, on the W side of the valley of the Owbaun River. A section of a stone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.4m), which protrudes above the surface of the bog, extends (L 26m) to the NW from just N of a possible cashel (KE084-005----). It then curves to the N for a distance of 32m before disappearing into deeper bog.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
