The National Monuments Service's description

In rough, ungrazed pasture on a SW-facing slope; Good views S->SW->W of mountains. Reported to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland as the low remains of a large enclosure. Roughly circular area (diameter c. 40m) defined by sally trees; corresponds to large circular area defined by vegetation evident upon aerial photography (OSi, 2010). Low profile, oval shaped, raised area within northern sector; seen upon aerial photography as two small, conjoined circles (ibid). Oval area (dims. c. 5m N-S; c. 8m E-W) defined by scarp (Wth 1.8m-2m; H 0.25m-0.3m) SE->S->W->N->E and barely traceable NE->E->SE. Small area of briars along W-side. Interior is level and covered in matted vegetation of grasses and rushes. No potential feature depicted at this location upon historic mapping.
