The National Monuments Service's description
A low standing stone situated on a N facing slope, below the low hill where the stone alignment (KE054-016----) is located. It is a large boulder set upright in the ground and measures 1.45m in height and .6m x .65m at base; SSE-NNW. The sides splay outwards to a maximum width of 1.68m and then taper slightly to the top which is divided into two peaks; several packing stones are visible on the W side.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 70. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
