The National Monuments Service's description
The outline of the circular univallate enclosure marked on the 1st edition of the OS map is now only faintly discernible. It has an estimated diameter of 28.5m. Located on a N facing slope on the S side of the Lispole valley.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 592. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
