The National Monuments Service's description
Lisracreeveen/Lios or Ráth an Chraoibhín: Roughly circular rath KE044-117---- is situated in low-lying land at the W end of the Anascaul valley.
Dense vegetation prevents a close examination of the mounds and depressions that occur in the interior, but An Seabhac (1939, 181) mentions a small souterrain within the site.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 287. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
