The National Monuments Service's description
A small, irregularly-shaped cashel KE043-052----, now in poor condition, situated on elevated ground between the ridges of Lateevemore and Reenconnell.
A possible souterrain, which appears to run under the wall at NW, is now inaccessible. A partly drystone-lined hollow, at the base of the inner face of the wall, marks its location.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 590. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
