The National Monuments Service's description
A standing stone situated in rough pastureland on the E slopes of a N spur of Lateevemore. The land falls away to E and SE towards a tributary of the Milltown river. It is 1.42m high, a maximum of .8m wide, and varies from c. 0.05m thick at the edges to c. 0.4m towards the middle; N-S.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 136. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
