The National Monuments Service's description

In an enclosure (KE038-034----). In the 1990s a field called 'Killeen', which 'was a burial ground long ago' was recorded in Gurraun townland (CPCK 2001, vol. 2). The Killeen is a D-shaped enclosure which has been partially levelled, probably during the removal of field boundaries. There are no visible remains of any graves or grave-markers in the enclosure but the name 'Killeen' implies that it was used as a children's burial ground.
