The National Monuments Service's description
Internal diameter 35.7m N-S
Situated one field E of a now levelled enclosure (KE005-089----), this univallate rath consists of a circular area enclosed by an earthen bank. It is on average 3.6m wide and rises to 1.2m externally and .9m above the interior. The enclosing bank is broken in many places by cattle. The interior is at a higher level than the surrounding land and a slight rise would appear to exist in the W sector, though due to the overgrowth it is difficult to determine whether it is of archaeological significance.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 267. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
