The National Monuments Service's description
This stone is situated SSE of a promontory fort (101). It is a large irregularly shaped boulder which rises to a height of 1.2m, 2.2m in width and 1.85m thick. Packing stones are to be noted around the base of the stone.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 11. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
