The National Monuments Service's description
In a narrow roadside strip of woodland, in mixed pasture and tillage. A slightly raised (H 1m) circular area (diam. c. 25m) is enclosed by a shallow fosse (D 0.75m; Wth 2.5-3m) and a low outer, earthen bank (H 0.7m; Wth 3m). The bank has been reused both as a woodland boundary SE-SW-NW, and as a roadside boundary NE-E. (O’Riordáin 1950, 273)
