The National Monuments Service's description
A Registered Historic Monument (HM01307). On a slight rise and now surrounded by car parking for Punchestown Racecourse. A small and very overgrown circular area (diam. 15m) is enclosed by a shallow fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 3m), a low earthen bank (H 1m; Wth 4m), a second fosse (D 0.5m; Wth 2m) and a second, outer bank upon which cleared field material has been dumped. (O’Riordáin 1950, 273)
