The National Monuments Service's description
In 1984, an extended inhumation in a shallow grave immediately under the top-sod was exposed in the NE face of a small, disused quarry. The skeleton appeared to be aligned N-S. Immediately NW of the burial, a shallow ditch was visible in the quarry face.
