In pastureland. This reconstructed medieval round-headed doorway surround (H1.7m; Wth 1.1m) now acts as the entrance to a rectangular enclosed area (24m E-W; 12m N-S), defined by a low mortared wall, within which a holy well (GA125-001001-) and penitential stations (GA125-001003-) lie. The doorway is in the W wall. The external face of its arch stones and most of the side stones are chamfered and pock dressed but the internal face is rough and unworked. The doorway may have been removed from the Franciscan friary (GA125-058002-) that lay c. 245m to the SSE. Further medieval arch stones (GA125-001004-) are visible in the SE corner of the enclosed area, where they are incorporated into a culvert.
