The National Monuments Service's description
Associated with a holy well (GA125-----). Three small circular cairns were noted to the NW, NE and SE of the holy well on inspection in September 1985. They are probably associated with the penitential aspect of the holy well. During the 1990s works were carried out on the site (pers. comm. B. O'Reilly) and the cairns are now beehive shaped.
