The National Monuments Service's description

In level pastureland. When inspected in October 1979 this poorly preserved circular rath (diam. c. 30m) was defined by a substantial earth and stone bank that was faced in places, both internally and externally, with large stones. The interior was almost completely obscured by thorn bushes and briars and was subdivided by a NW-SE running field wall, and the remains of another wall at S (SMR file). On re-inspection in October 1982, the bank (Wth 2.5m; H 1m) was visible from W through N to E but only slight traces of the S half survived. A possible moated site lies c. 180m to the E.
