The National Monuments Service's description

On a gentle rise in pastureland. Well-preserved oval rath (c. 60m N-S; 46.6m E-W) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank survives as a low rise, overlain by a later field wall, except from E to SE. Traces of internal stone-facing are evident on the inner bank and a stone-lined causewayed entrance gap (Wth 2.4m) is visible at E. There is a souterrain (GA113-025001-) in the SW quadrant of the interior.
