The National Monuments Service's description

Situated at the N end of Dalkey town at the junction of Castle Street and Ormeau Dive. The cross-slab is located within a rectangular walled-in graveyard raised above the level of the road. A small Latin cross with splayed extremities on a stone in the N wall above a narrow round-headed window, W of the chancel arch of the church (DU023-023002-; O'Reilly 1901, 135, 147-149).
