The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located on a terrace bordered on N side by a low rocky scarp (H 1-1.5m) which drops to a flat expanse of rush-grown ground stretching 100m N to the banks of a river. To S ground rises gradually in a series of limestone terraces. There is a spring well c. 10m to W at the base of the rocky scarp. This possible house consists of a flat rectangular area (8m ESE/WSW; 6.5m) defined by a sod-covered stone bank/wall. The stone bank (Wth c. 1-1.5m; H 0.3-0.6m) is relatively well preserved on the on E, S and W sides, and is particularly substantial on the SW corner which it shares with the NE corner of a small rectangular enclosure (DG103-090003-). The N side of the house coinciding with the rocky scarp at the terrace edge, and here the enclosing wall is poorly preserved, with a shallow depression (2.8m E-W; 1m N-S) evident on its inner edge. There is a gap (Wth 0.8m) to S of centre in the E wall. A cave adapted to serve as a souterrain (DG103-090001-) underlies the possible house and the enclosure. Two circular enclosures (DG103-088----; DG103-089----) are located upslope 100m to SW and 70m to SSW, respectively.
