The National Monuments Service's description
In rough grazing on the S-facing hillslopes of Bere Island. A circular area (5.3m E-W) is enclosed by contiguously set stone slabs (T 0.1m; H 0.45m) ENE-W protruding above the surface of bog. The largest slab (H 0.45m; 1.8m x 0.08m), which is recumbent, is at S. From W-ENE there are intermittent traces of slabs in the deeper bog. Two hut sites (CO128-045004-, CO128-045002-) lie c. 10m to the S and c. 70m to the WSW, respectively.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
