The National Monuments Service's description

On a rough hill pasture terrace with occasional outcropping rock, on a SE-facing slope. The remains of a D-shaped hut site (2.2m NE-SW) defined by the lower courses of a collapsed, curving, drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.55m) with a straight NW side (L 2.8m). The drystone wall protrudes above the surface of the bog. A hut site (CO114-079003-) abuts this hut site externally at the NE. Another hut site (CO114-079002-) is 4m to the NW.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
