The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, in a hollow at the foot of a steep N-facing slope. An upright stone (0.55m x 0.55m; H 1.1m) that is square in plan and aligned NNE-SSW stands 0.65m NNE of a prostrate stone (L 0.75m; 0.65m x 0.47m). Myler (1998, 93) records 'a cairn of stones in the ditch due north of these stones which may be just stones from field clearance work'.
