The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on NE end of low ridge overlooking Mealagh River to S. Circular area (28.2m N-S; 27.6m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.5m). Bank low on N side; interior raised on E, S and W sides to compensate for hill slope. Myler (1998, 31) records that 'the interior contains mounds of small stones and a sunken area which suggests a possible souterrain'.
