The National Monuments Service's description
On a hillside on a W-facing slope overlooking Tooreen valley. A circular area (diam. 11m) is defined by the remains of a stone wall (T 1.2m; H 0.5m) displaying traces of an inner and outer row of upright contiguous slabs, especially along the SE-S arc. The level interior is cut into the upsloping bank (D 0.5m) at E and is raised (H 1m) along the W arc, where it is revetted by horizontally laid stone facing.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
