The National Monuments Service's description
In an area of rough hill grazing on bog, on a SW-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Kerry River. A series of relict stone field boundaries adjoining an enclosure (CO090-013----) were noted in this area in October 1988. However the entire area has been deep-ploughed in more recent times and it would appear that the relict walls have been destroyed. Several stones are scattered on the disturbed uneven surface at the location indicated in 1998.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
