The National Monuments Service's description
During archaeological test-trenching in advance of a housing development, a rectangular pit (1.3m E-W x 0.9m; D 0.31m) was discovered. The pit contained a grey-brown silty soil with frequent bone inclusions in part of the fill. A stone (L 0.18m) was noted underlying the bone in this pit. (Sherlock 2002, 9)
