The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on NE-facing slope. Circular area (34m N-S; 33m E-W) enclosed by heavily overgrown, earthen bank (int. H 1.5m; ext. H 1.75m). External fosse survives as slight slope down to base of bank. Bank incorporated into field fence system SSW->NE; entrance (Wth 2m) to E; cattle gaps to S and WSW. Highest point of interior is W half, sloping down towards entrance to E and more gently to N and S. Souterrain (CO041-10002-) in W half of interior.
