The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Circular area (38m N-S; 38m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse. Break (Wth 2m) in inner bank (int. H 1.35m; ext. H 1.2m) to SE leading down into fosse; outer bank at this point rebuilt for short section. Intervening fosse (D 0.5m) partially overgrown and dry. Outer bank (H 1.2m) incorporated into field fence system to E and S; external stone facing noted to NE; narrower in section to S; break (Wth c. 2m) to NE with N side faced by large stone. Interior slopes gently down to SE.
