The National Monuments Service's description
In low-lying, very rushy pasture, on an E-facing slope with limited views, except to E, where there is a distant view of mountains. Listed as 'Potential Site Air Photo' in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Not depicted on any OS historic mapping. Identified as a faint oval cropmark (31m NW-SE; 26m NE-SW) on a high altitude Geological Survey aerial photograph (GSIAP, R 107). A possible subcircular cropmark is visible on Ordnance Survey aerial photography (2010). This is a uniform slope and there is no obvious definition evident at ground level to suggest an extant enclosure at this location. The entire field, except for a farming driveline, is covered in rushes (H c. 0.5m). Not known of locally.
