The National Monuments Service's description

On an ENE-facing slope, in improved pasture with good views of the surrounding landscape N-E-S. The monument is depicted on the 1840 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (c. 25m N-S; c. 23m E-W) defined by a bank which appears to be open at W. This enclosure is barely perceptible at ground level. The faint traces of an oval area (20m N-S; 18m E-W) are defined by the remains of a levelled scarp (Wth 7m; H 0.6m) ENE-S-WNW which is most pronounced at E and is almost completely levelled WNW-N-ENE. There is no trace of a fosse at ground level, however aerial photograph may show a trace. The interior has a gentle ENE-facing slope. The levelled remains of this monument have been incorporated into the surrounding field as pasture. An electric field fence (long-axis E-W) traverses the monument off-centre to N.
