The National Monuments Service's description

Just c. 12m SE of NW-facing inland cliffs named 'Scalpduff' on the 1916 OS 6-inch map and c. 470m NE of Cahercommaun fort (CL010-064003-). Within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL010-064001-). A subrectangular enclosure (c. 43m NE-SW; c. 25m NW-SE) defined by a stone wall and visible on Digital Globe (2011-2013) and on OSi MapGenie orthophotography (2013-2018). A house site (CL010-069001-) lies in the NE interior and several small pens are in the SW interior against the perimeter with another in the NE corner and one on the NE exterior. Two cashels (CL010-064085- and CL010-064067-) lie c. 140m to the SE.
