The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in a flat area of exposed limestone pavement c. 15m NE of an enclosed water reservoir. A horseshoe-shaped grass-covered mound (diam. NE-SW 7.3m) open to the NW and very low at SE. There is some evidence of heat-shattered stone. Some leaning slabs protrude from the central area indicating the presence of a trough (c. 2.3m x 1.44m). A ringfort (CL010-022----) lies c. 115m to the SW.
