The National Monuments Service's description

On an E-facing upper shoulder of a semi-karst slope in rough pasture, offering wide views and within a large multiperiod field system (CL010-064001-). Identified in 1996 by Tom Coffey. This irregular overgrown cairn (current dims. 13m N-S; 8m E-W; H 0.4-1.4m) has been truncated at the W by a drainage ditch (Wth 1-1.5m; D 0.5-0.8m). There are several stones set on edge at the E and SE sides of the cairn. Some digging activity has exposed the stone and earth makeup of the cairn.
