The National Monuments Service's description
On a N-facing slope in semi-karst rough pastureland with slightly higher ground around on most sides, and within a large multiperiod field system (CL010-064001-). Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996), on the basis of a 1996 map annotation by Tom Coffey, marking a ‘fort’. On inspection in 1999 a subcircular hut site (int. dims. 6m N-S; 5.4m E-W) defined by a band (Wth 1-1.8m) of slightly taller grass was noted in the location. The interior was flat, with some exposed bedrock.
