The National Monuments Service's description

On a high NE-facing semi-karst slope in rough pasture with wide views from N to SE, and within a large multiperiod field system (CL010-064001-). Listed as ‘Cist’ in the RMP (1996) on the basis of a map annotation by Tom Coffey (SMR file). This small cairn (5m N-S; 4m E-W; H 0.6-0.8m) has many loose stones at its top which appear to have been put there in modern times. There is a small grass-covered extension (L 2.4m) on the E side. Small whitethorn trees grow on the edge from SW to N.
