The National Monuments Service's description

On the E side of a small S-flowing stream, in an area of exposed limestone, scrub and rough grazing, with hazel growing immediately to E and SSE. Listed in the RMP on the basis of information supplied by Tom Coffey (SMR file). This fulacht fia comprises a small grass-covered mound (6m NE-SW; 4m NW-SE; H 0.8m) of burnt stone and ash, with a poorly defined and overgrown edge from S to W.
