The National Monuments Service's description

Just to the N of a WSW-ENE flowing rivulet, in a low-lying damp area surrounded by higher ground on all sides. Not listed individually in the RMP (1996) but referred to there as one of several ‘Fulachta fia’ under the number (CL010-162----), following a 1994 report by Tom Coffey of four fulachtaí fia at this location (SMR file). This fulacht fia comprises an irregular grass-covered mound (12m N-S; 10m E-W: H 0.7m). Another fulacht fia (CL010-162----) lies c. 11m to the NE.
