The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a high rocky ridge with higher ground to the SW. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Visible on an aerial photograph (HSL 9221/2). On inspection in 1999 this was found to be a subcircular enclosure (int. diam. 12m) of apparently modern construction defined by a narrow drystone wall. The interior slopes to the NE.
