The National Monuments Service's description

At an elevated position in an area of semi-karst rough pasture, hazel and undergrowth. Noted by Tom Coffey in 1994 (SMR file). This very poorly preserved possible fulacht fia is defined by a spread (diam. c. 5m) of carbon-stained clay and burnt stones, in which there is an upright limestone slab (H 0.4m; L 1.1m).
