The National Monuments Service's description
On a prominent rise in rough pasture. Marked by Thomas Westropp on his copy of the OS 6-inch map, and also on a Geological Survey of Ireland map. Listed as ‘Tumulus’ in the RMP (1996). This grass-covered subcircular cairn (10m E-W; 9m N-S; H 1-1.3m) has two slight hollows in it. A grass-covered field wall can be seen in satellite imagery (Aerial Premium 2013-2018) extending NW from the W edge of the cairn. A roadside wall runs NNE-SSW along the E edge of the cairn. Another cairn (CL010-097001-) lies c. 35m to the SSW, and there is another (CL010-097003-) c. 77m to the SW.
