The National Monuments Service's description

On a low rise in rough pasture, with fair views in all directions. This subcircular grass-covered cairn (9m E-W; 8m N-S; H 0.5-1.3m) has a flat top (diam. 3m) and is poorly defined at its E edge. A natural scarp arcs SW and then NW from the S edge of the cairn. There is a natural N-S orientated hollow just to the E of the cairn, and on the E side of that (4m from the cairn) is a curving scarp of what looks like a natural cairn/mound in which an electricity pole is set. A grass-covered wall which runs E-W over the top of the cairn and continues beyond it in both directions is visible in satellite imagery (Aerial Premium 2013-2018).
