Against the W wall of Caherwalsh cashel (CL009-059045-), within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). Two conjoined cells (total int. dims. c. 11m N-S; min. 3.7m E-W) defined by straight grass-covered collapsed walls with rounded corners abut the inside of the cashel wall. Other possible house foundations lie in the NW corner (CL009-272----) and in the SE quadrant (CL009-271----). Foundations of a larger house (CL009-059123-) are in the SW quadrant. Four D-shaped structures (CL009-274---- to CL009-277----) are built against the inner face of the cashel wall, two at NE and two at SE.
