The National Monuments Service's description
On grass-covered limestone pavement in pasture, c. 9.5m W of Caherwalsh cashel (CL009-059045-) and within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). This cluster of possibly three contiguous D-shaped huts (total c. 12.5m N-S; c. 10.5m E-W) comprises two structures arranged side by side to form a ‘B’ shape (c. 8m E-W) with a straight W side (L c. 12.5m), the gap between the two curved walls at the E being closed by another curved wall to create a third possible hut site (int. dims. 3m N-S; 2.8m E-W). The fairly well-defined walls (Wth 0.7-1m; H c. 0.5m) are composed of quite large, distinctive stones with few pillars. There is an entrance gap (Wth 0.5m) at SE in the S hut site, the interior of which is c. 0.6m lower than that of the N hut site.
