The National Monuments Service's description
Towards the highest point on a broad upland karst plateau and within a large multiperiod field system (CL005-160001-). A subrectangular enclosure (c. 52m N-S; c. 43m E-W) visible on Digital Globe (2011-2013) and on OSi orthophotography (MapGenie 2013-2018). An E-W field wall crosses the enclosure and a later NW-SE field wall also crosses it from W to SE. A cashel lies c. 140m to the SW.
