The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a high plateau with a deep, wide ravine to the W. Listed as ‘Cashel’ in the SMR (1992) and in the RMP (1996). On inspection in 1998 this was found to be an enclosure (int. diam. 17m) defined by a drystone wall. The stones at the base are set transversely and there are some large uprights.
