The National Monuments Service's description

At the N edge of a SW-NE ravine, in hazel and rough pasture, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). Listed as ‘Potential site – aerial photo’ in the RMP (1996). This monument was not detected at ground level during an inspection in 1997, when this appeared to be a natural subcircular ring of hazel growth surrounding a clearing. An enclosure (CL009-059084-) lies c. 127m to the NE.
