The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture at the S edge of an undulating plateau sloping to E and S, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP. This subrectangular cashel (ext. dims. 29.6m N–S; 29.4m E–W) is defined by a stone spread (Wth c. 5–6m; int. H 1m; ext. H 0.5–0.6m), some of which appears to be modern field clearance. A drystone wall has been built on top of it. The E side (Wth c. 2m; H 1m) of the latter wall is more substantial than the others, which are of more flimsy construction (Wth c. 0.8m; H c. 0.6m). At SE the stone spread has been relatively recently modified into a platform (L. 6m; Wth 3m; max. H 1m). An enclosure (CL009-059011-) lies c. 190m to the W.
