The National Monuments Service's description

On a rise in undulating pastureland and outcropping limestone pavement and within a large multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-); a trackway runs outside it to the E. Hachured on the 1897 OS 25-inch plan and the 1920 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. This subcircular enclosure (int. dims. 25.2m N-S; 20.5m E-W) is defined by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 5m; max. int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1-2m); ntermittent upright slabs possibly mark an inner wall-face or revetment. The interior is slightly concave and slopes gently to the SE. There is a mound on the edge of the interior at SSE and several low piles of field-clearance rubble at SW.
