The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pastureland and outcropping limestone pavement, with higher ground to the NE, within a large multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). Listed as 'Enclosure' in the RMP (1996). This truncated subcircular cashel (23m N-S; 17m E-W) is defined by a collapsed and grass-covered stone wall (original Wth 1.1m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.35m) and associated tumble (Wth 1.8-1.9m). The inner wall-face is visible intermittently, surviving up to two courses in height. The townland field boundary, oriented NW-SE, cuts across the limits of the SW quadrant of the interior; faint traces of a fosse and earthen bank are visible beside it. The interior is slightly concave. There is an enclosure (CL008-013003-) c. 94m to the NNW and a cashel (CL008-013002-) c. 108m to the WNW.
